Virtues, the Rule of Action, the Standard, the Creed in daily life, and the Maxims

The Basic Himbo Virtues

Strength
Be capable.
Simplicity
Make the useful thing easier to do.

Take the next honest action.
Kindness
Use strength to create safety and warmth.
Sincerity
Mean what you say, even when the words are not elegant.
Humility
Laugh when you forget what you came into the room for.
Presence
Be where your body is.
Helpfulness
Lift what you can. Ask before lifting what is not yours.
Growth
Choose progress over perfection.
Freedom
Release the performance of who you think you are required to be.

The Himbo Rule of Action

When overwhelmed, ask:

What is actually happening?
What matters right now?
What can I put down?
What is the next useful action?
Do I need water, food, movement, rest, or a hug?

Then do the simplest honest thing available.

The Himbo Standard

The Creed in Practice

Morning
I do not need to solve the whole day. I need to begin it.
Work
I will do the useful thing before the impressive thing.
Training
I strengthen my body because it carries my life.
Relationships
I will be clear, kind, and present.
Overwhelm
I will put down what is not mine to carry right now.
Failure
I will learn what happened without turning it into a verdict on who I am.
Success
I will celebrate the work without pretending I did it alone.
Rest
Rest is part of strength.
Return
I am allowed to begin again without making the restart dramatic.

The Foundational Maxims

The Short-Form Declaration

I choose strength without cruelty.
I choose simplicity without carelessness.
I choose momentum without shame.
I choose confidence without domination.
I choose softness without apology.
I choose kindness because kindness is hot.

I will take up space without taking space away from others.
I will help where I can.
I will listen when I do not understand.
I will laugh when I lose my phone while holding it.
I will not wait to become perfect before becoming present.

I am already on the path.

I am a Himbo.
And I am free.
